  1. Post#6: When content remains relevant up to 5 years later, there is certainly a treasure chest of value. Three Cheers to the next 5 years. Lovely to be here.

    Best,
    LL

  2. “…because if it was real money right now I wouln’t….nah…I would still do video blog posts, because I love you guys…” That one made me smile 😉 Keep up your great vblog Yu-Kai!

  3. RomanRackwitz Haha, just saw this comment. Our “last” conversation become so much more since Feb 3! Good to be working with you brotha!

  4. I really like your site. I found some really interesting and cool stuff and now I’m trying to modify my own life by some of your advices to improve (maybe I will try to get in touch with you for some help if I get stuck:) Anyway thanks and keep playing/gaming! 🙂

  5. “It’s not really about being smart, but it’s about mastering a system. The key is “Doing it well” so the way you do it is more important than your intelligence.” …and thinking about our last conversation again it’s about ‘learning’ (mastering) and meaning (…more important than your intelligence) 😉

  6. I stumbled upon your site…
    I am glad i did.
    You just won another follower…

I really like how you crystalised everything by bringing all 6 concepts together…Then all of a sudden the light came right on…seriously.

    Great summary mate!!!

  7. Hi, Yukai,

Ya, I understand that verified check-in is important. But I think we cannot ignore the fact that the product is directly competing against “facebook deals”. I think the “checkin” space is getting pretty hot now, and you will see tons of competition swamping into the space in a very short timeframe.

I think your team is very talented, will follow your story in this blog. Very best to you.

  8. Hi, Yukai,

Your new startup rewardmeapp.com sounds promising and have a quite solid revenue model. However, I was also wondering, how are you going to compete with “facebook places” and also what if “foursquare” put in the same features as your app.

    1. Wow,

You actually are paying attention to what I’m doing 🙂

Our key is that we provide hardware that 100% gaurantees a verified check-in 😀

  9. Hi, Yukai,

I think you should definitely do a season 2 for the show. The show is truely unique as I have never watched anything like this before in YouTube. Probably some TV channels will soon copy the idea

  10. Hi, Yukai,

All of you are very inspiring. Also found out about the video “Living a startup life”. Had been watching all the episodes, should be on TV reality show.

    1. Hahaha, that was a fun project! It was like 2 years ago though. It took a lot of time and had less ROI so we didn’t continue it 🙁

      We want to though.

  11. Hey Joe,

Thanks for your encouragement. It’s been rough doing startups again and again, but as you said, I’m very lucky to have a great team of people who are persistent with me to change the world. Also, for every startup that didn’t pan out, we manage to push the envelope further on the next one. One day we will succeed 🙂

  12. Hi, Yukai,

I also admire your courage and determination to overcome all the barriers and work on one startup after the other. And you are indeed super lucky to have a great team together, its very difficult to find talented people and also those that you can trust to be in your team.

    1. lol. I’m refining my skills to make more interesting videos. Trying to do the FD thing again – combining fun and productivity!

  13. Wow, I actually watched the whole video. Miss you guys! Water rules. Working out helps, too. Good to see you are still having FUN! Maybe you should add that to your list. Rock on!

  14. This is the first video I’ve seen of you… Pretty fun, and a lot of valuable tips! 🙂
I am currently trying to master the 3 C’s myself! concentration is my weakness!
love the ending! – > “water is still the best”
    keep it up 🙂

    1. Haha, thanks a lot! I’ve been experimenting with some video blogging ideas, and I’m glad it was entertaining 🙂

      Hope all is well!

  15. Awesome video Yu-Kai.
Yeah, i agree with your points. if you want to be good at what you do you must learn how to strategize! to be a strategist is not a sin. Also working with people who are smarter than you will help you break new grounds. Keep up the good work bro! Have fun….
PS: Hope you get my mail?? Thanks a lot.

    1. Hey Samuel!

Thanks for the kind message. I got your email but I’m usually a bit slow on those, so bare with me 😛

Hope all is well with you!

  16. Hi, Yukai.

Really enjoyed your video, this one was more fun. I normally watch all the videos you posted. But it also kept me wondering, what will happen to viralogy.com now that you all have switched focus to rewardme.

    1. Hey Joe!

Thanks for being so kind to watch all the things I throw out 🙂 It’s people like you that motivate me to post more even though I’m always behind my company to-do items 🙁

RewardMe is under the company Viralogy Inc. We are keeping our existing service but we won’t aggressively be pushing it out anymore but will mostly take inbound customers.

      😀
