So the big four accounting firms have long names like PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and such, and the reason for that is that accounting firms combine together and form a larger firm, and their original names were often named after the founders’ last names.
If this exact same phenomenon would happen in China, than this dialogue would happen:
“Hey, where do you work at?”
“Oh, I work at Chou Yang & Lee.”
“NO WAY! That’s like, one of the largest firms in China! I only work for Chen Chou Wang…”
“Haha, that’s ok. It’s still a formidible firm.”
“What about me? I work for Liu Lee & Chan.”
“Umm, never heard of that one. Probably sucks.”
StijnDeCat LOL – this post makes me embarrassed XD I actually have even older posts, but my blog was destroyed once and all my posts since 2004 were lost ;-(
Good job here though! I should create a mission on my PBL sidebar system that awards people more points if they find this oldest post 😉
Btw, I’ve tried to put the leaderboard on the sidebar, but it looks quite ugly….I’m not sure I am completely convinced of its value compared to what I give up. what do you think about it?
@StijnDeCat I found it too 🙂
By the way, don’t know how many iterations and options you try before Yu-Kai, but the Leaderboard on the side is great and very engaging
I’M NUMBER 8 IN THE ALL TIME LEADERBOARD…. I almost feel like a Gamification Master 😉
Stay Awesome!
It took me a while but i finally found your first post! XD
Wonder who else is gonna find this…
